Priceline Hotel: Need advice on bidding for a hotel in Universal City

Hello, I'm new to this site and was hoping someone could offer some help (hopefully rather quickly) :)

I am trying to book a hotel in the San Fernando Valley area, specifically in Universal City. I was hoping to get the Holiday Inn Universal City. I noticed someone else had recently won their bid at this same hotel, but when I put in the same requirements (Studio City district) there are no 3* hotels available.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

You mentioned you were in a hurry so maybe you've already purchased something. If you haven't what are your travel dates?

It's the Burbank-Universal-Glendale zone you want, not the Studio City zone.

But there's no way to bid for one particular hotel. If you're willing to accept ANY 3* or higher hotel in the B-U-G zone someone can offer a bidding strategy.
