NAD314 Posted June 5, 2010 Author Report Posted June 5, 2010 Sorry! Completely forgot I hadn't followed up on that. I've done it now!
yellowdog Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 NAD314Yes, it could be the Holiday Inn since this is "fairly frequent" reported on PRICELINE but another candidate would be the Ramada LTD with a slight diffrent amenitie (pool missing) combo and a down grade to 2.5*. I would have a open mind for both. Please use the site's HOTWIRE link to start your purchase, and let us know how it goes or if you need any additional help with your stay.Yellowdog.PS. Please follow-up this thread with whatever you end up doing, even if you chose to book direct, cancell your trip, etc.
NAD314 Posted June 5, 2010 Author Report Posted June 5, 2010 Hmm but the Holiday Inn is in the right area (Goleta) but is now listed as a 3* and the Ramada Ltd is in the right category (2.5*) but is actually in Santa Barbara and not Goleta. Could there be a mistake with the HI rating? I see it has recently been moved up to a 3*.
thereuare Posted June 6, 2010 Report Posted June 6, 2010 Some parts of this zone extend beyond the city limits of Goleta and extend into parts of Santa Barabara.I don't think this is likely the Holiday Inn as they don't serve a complimentary breakfast. My guess for the above is either the Best Western South Coast Inn... or a secondary guess the Ramada Limited (if downgraded from the previously reported 3* level)Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases.Let us know what you decide and how it goes or if we can be of further help.
