Bids of $40, $50, $60, $70 and $80 were rejected for Charlottetown zone 1 2* hotel. Anybody know what hotels priceline uses in Charlottetown?

Is the same chain of hotel always the same priceline star-rating from city to city?

We don't have so much information about Charlottetown so i can't answer that.

No, not allways. Hotels got diffrent standards in the same chain so that's why the diffrent star rating.

If you go to MAPS and HOTELS.com and enter Charlottetown, Canada into the search box, you can at least see the hotels that PRICELINE uses thru their "retail" side, which while a different universe of hotels used on their "bidding" side, it will at least give you some idea of the possibilities.

This date is a long weekend in Prince Edward Island and right in the middle of their short tourist season. Expect to pay big money for anything from a hotel room to a bottle of water if you are unfortunate enough to be on PEI in July and August. I live within a half day drive of PEI but quit going years ago because of poor value. Bottom line...expect no deals in PEI in the summer.
