Holiday Inn Northeast was a 2.5* at last report, so it's been upgraded. Bidders seeking 3* hotels in the Arden area may be disappointed with the upgrade, as the HI is at I-80 and Madison, 6-7 miles from Arden. Until now the known 3* hotels were all close to Arden.

The Holiday Inn is undergoing renovations. According to a sign at the desk the hotel will become a Crowne Plaza when the renovation are complete. I was on an unrenovated floor, which was tired and worn.

I used to stay here a lot. Good location for McClellan Park. Thanks for the news on the changeover. I'll wait until they're done.
