a lot of the hotels during this week seems to be all sold out - I bid from $90 all the way to $158 and still haven't won anything.

can you please tell me how much I can possibly get the hotel for, and which hotel I might be getting? Thank you.... :)

HOTWIRE has a couple options for less than you've bid:

4* Century City-Westwood $129

3.5* Beverly Hills-West Hollywood $126

If either of these hotels interest you please post the icons you see on your own HOTWIRE search and someone will try to ID.

Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links for your purchases.

the 4* Century City-Westwood $129 is now sold out again - I put the icons in my first message, do you know what hotel it'd have been anyways?

I guess my best bet is Priceline now. Can anyone help me so i get an idea of which 4* Beverly Hills hotel I might win on Priceline?

thank you! :)

My best guess is the 4* in Century City-Westwood was the Palomar. It's been reported with those icons in the past.

HOTWIRE is still offering the Palomar today but it's no longer an opaque listing at $129. Today it's a conventional listing through Hotels.com at $193.20.

Opaque listings (where you aren't told the name of the hotel until after you purchase) are in red. Conventional listings (which name the hotel prior to purchase) are in gray. So Palomar sold out all their opaque HOTWIRE inventory at $129 yesterday (listing was red) and today they're selling rooms conventionally at $193.20 (listing is gray).

HOTWIRE has the 3.5* Tower Beverly Hills Hotel for $159, a dollar less than you've bid for a 4*. Does this interest you?

With three weeks to go I think you might have 4* success on PRICELINE for less than the $158 you've already bid, if you're patient. If you decide to wait it out you should book a cancellable backup somewhere.

You might win a 3.5* in BH-WH zone now for under $100 now. Let us know if you want a strategy for that.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I ended up winning the bid on Priceline and got the Palomar in Century City- Westwood for $117. Not the ideal hotel and location but price is reasonable so I'm content. I use Priceline quite often and will make sure I use the link provided here next time. Thank you. :)
