Bonwah Posted June 12, 2010 Report Posted June 12, 2010 I may be that previous poster you refer to -- and we just got back yesterday from London. You'll be very happy with this hotel, I think; we were delighted. The location can't be beat (one block to Victoria Station, and many good restaurants and pubs in the area) and the hotel is a nice, solid business hotel. My wife and I were surprised it was offering rooms at this rate when hotel rooms are generally so expensive all over London. We asked for a quiet room and the clerk gave us one on the 7th floor with a rooftop view towards Parliament and the London Eye. Very friendly staff, and in the morning they had free Daily Telegraph and Guardian newspapers in the lobby.Try the Queens Arms pub (about two blocks away in Westminster) for a friendly drink and dinner. Also, there's a wonderful Sainsbury's Market just a half-block down Wilton Road for general groceries.
