Visa711
Hello, can I get some bidding assistance? I've been bidding in Savannah Historic for 3/6-3/7, trying to get a bargain, but I just can't seem to get one. I've been bidding starting at $60 & going up to $80 with my free rebidding zones. here are today's prices:Mariott- not availablehilton - 189hyatt - 325doubletree - 169I have a back up booked for 116.10, but it has free parking & free breakfast, while the 4 that are likely to be gotten with Priceline charge for parking & don't offer free breakfast. Do you think a total price of approximately $105 (including priceline fees) is unattainable for this area at this time?THanks. Link to comment
Scorp
Looking at some events calendars, I see there is an All-State Band and Orchestra event in Savannah for March 3-5. Is this a busy event, do you know? It might be impacting on Priceline availability (people staying the extra weekend day, maybe?). Are you only interested in bidding at the 3* level? Link to comment
thereuare
Rates are currently higher than when we generally see acceptances in this zone at the prices you've been bidding. Visa711
No, it doesn't have to be a 3*, but by my research, it doesn't really look like they offer any other star level hotels in that particular area. I'm sure my backup is no where close to a 3*!!I'm not sure of that event, if it's a big thing. I've never even been to Savannah before :)I guess I will just keep bidding up to my maximum; all I can do really. Thanks,Kristin Link to comment

Visa711
Well, I was successful last night. Bid 70, 75, 80 & then I got it at $85. I had decided I'd go up to $90, but actually didn't have to go that high.Got the Hyatt Regency, for a total of $103.71.Thanks! Link to comment
