Have bid the last couple of days from $70, 75, 85, 95, 105, 108 and have been rejected for June 9-11, 2010 at the following locations:

Beverly Hills - West Hollywood + Brentwood - Westwood

Then, rebid with these two added:

Culver City

Lawndale

I'm currently trying for 4* in hollywood and have gone up to $140 - there is no inventory right now I think, best to book something cancel-able and keep trying. Good luck.

I tried again today - rejected in hollywood up to 124 for 4*'s, up to 98 for 3.5*'s and up to 76 for 3*'s. I'm considering wh/bh zone now, saw a recent intercontinental win for $80 on the boards...

I have just had a bid accepted in beverley hills / west hollywood 4 star at $118 . After bidding up to $112 I got a counter offer to bid another $22. Kept trying and got petit hotel West holywood for June 9-11th. Hope that might help you with your stratagy. That is staying on 9th & 10th leaving on the 11th. That weekend is Pride weekend so the 11th may be busier
