here is my bid history for 2,5* Pismo Beach hotels:

2,5* - 38, 45, 50, 55, 56, 57$ not accepted

For example Hotwire offers the 2,5* hotels for 59$ fixed price.

A HOTWIRE 2.5* is often a 2* on PRICELINE.

Ok, here are the informations for

3* hotel (69$): Suite, Complimentary Breakfast, Fitness Center, Pool(s), Business Center, Laundry Facilities, High-speed Internet Access, Golf Nearby, Tennis Nearby; Rating: 4.0

2.5* hotel (53$): complimentary breakfast, Pool(s), High-Speed Internet Access; Rating: We are still gathering reviews for this property.

Neither of the above have been identified 'as is' but...

The amenities for the 2.5* match previous reports for the Holiday Inn Express Grover Beach. HOWEVER, that property was last reported as a 3* hotel about 9 months ago, so i'm going to speculate that it has been downgraded since then and that is my best guess for that one.

If i was going to take a guess on the 3* i think the Oxford Suites seems like a good match and among the likely candidates.
