Phaelon56 Posted May 29, 2003 Report Posted May 29, 2003 A pleasant surprise and a great value. This property is at a commercial intersection in a decent neighborhood and very close to Langley AFB and NASA research center. Best described as an Amerisuites type extended stay hotel, it was a bit barebones in having a very utilitarian bathroom and a small kitchen area with no couch but the room was spotless. Entire property including public areas was immaculate (I've been in a few Extended Stay America properties lately that had really run down hallways and dirty lobby areas). The staff was friendly and courteous, did not require a credit card for incidentals and local phone calls were free. I would describe the decor and quality as midway between a good Motel 6 and a Fairfield Inn but the pillows, sheets and towels were a bit nicer than what I've gotten in my past few Fairfield stays. Overall a fantastic value for the $28 that I paid (I got this same property for $23 the week before b ut had to reschedule the trip and didn't use the first night's stay).
