Hotwire Hotel: 3.5* NYC (Chelsea-MSG) Wyndham Fashion 26 Hotel

I have been watching this trip for 7 weeks and have been using this board to track which hotels are being offered

or at least trying to predict which hotels are being offered.

it seems like the May 13-16 period is one of the most expensive and it has been getting pricer all the time.

tonight I found the wyndam - fashion 26 for 167 a night (200 inc. taxes).

I just booked it - using the HOTWIRE links from your site.

It was a Hotels.com listing in grey which showed the name of the hotel when you clicked on it.

For the record it is a 3.5* hotel and the amenitites shown were boutique, no smoking, fitness, restaurant, internet, business centre

it was also listed as 57th of 413 hotels on trip adviser site and had good reviews.

the hotel web site boasts a roof top bar which is a big selling point to my way of thinking.

I am pretty happy with the booking. (the price went down 15 dollars a night between when i first checked it and when i checked again an hour later) Upon seeing the price drop i booked it as I did not dare wait for fear the deal would be gone.

Just a Note: Fashion-26 opened April 13 and has been getting relatively consistent 4* reviews. I have a reservation at similar rate acquired via Expedia for May 7-9. I wanted to note that while Rare restaurant (upscale gourmet Hamburger / Pub / Lounge) proper is open adjacent to Fashion-26, the Rare Chelsea rooftop lounge opening is currently scheduled for late May, per restaurant management. They have recently opened a similar rooftop lounge at their Murray Hill location (Shelburne Hotel).
