Priceline Hotel: Searching (South) and (Airport)

Looking for a hotel in (South) San Francisco or (SFO Airport) areas for 5/28-6/1/2010. Would like to stay under $50/night. 2 1/2 plus star range. I am having no luck on Priceline for these areas or dates at these prices. Usually I am always able to find inexpensive rooms in these areas, but no such luck this time. I notice that there are no recent posts for these areas either. Suggestions?

SF has three airport zones: SFO-Burlingame, SFO North-San Bruno, and South San Francisco.

Just to clarify, have you been rejected up to $50 for 2.5* in all three zones?

Is SPLITTING YOUR PRICELINE BID an option?

HOTWIRE has what i believe to be the Clarion and Vagabond Inn (both 2* rated but the Vagabond gets decent reviews)... would either of these be of interest?

I have not tried SFo San Bruno, but I have tried the others and South San Francisco to no avail.

Is there a reason you haven't bid the SFO North-San Bruno zone? I think there's a good chance you could get a 2.5* or better there for under $50.
