thereuare Posted March 20, 2006 Author Report Posted March 20, 2006 Thanks for the offer, but this region is not yet covered by Google Maps so it won't be possible (at this point in time) to put this area's hotels on a map. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
NorCals Posted March 21, 2006 Report Posted March 21, 2006 What is priceline maps? Is it a list of the only hotels that priceline uses in that specific area?L
thereuare Posted March 21, 2006 Author Report Posted March 21, 2006 Read the first two post of this PRICELINE MAP thread and then click on any city in the first post. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases

thereuare Posted May 29, 2006 Author Report Posted May 29, 2006 As discussed in another thread, Google will be switching to a new version (just some internal coding changes) of their maps and will soon be turning off the first version. It was a major undertaking but we've been working hard over the last few weeks and have converted all of the map code to the new standard and the links on the first page of this thread now go to the latest version (v2). If anyone has trouble seeing the newest maps please let us know via PM.We are also still looking for users who would like to help gather data for other cities so that we can continue to expand this feature of the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
Guest 4yanx Posted July 11, 2006 Report Posted July 11, 2006 I might be able to do something similar for S Fran. Is there a cheap NYC hotel in it for me! Ha!
thereuare Posted July 11, 2006 Author Report Posted July 11, 2006 We already have a Priceline San Francisco Map but we could certainly add to it if there are popular zones not included. We encourage anyone who wants to volunteer to add to the existing map cities to let us know. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
thereuare Posted July 28, 2006 Author Report Posted July 28, 2006 No, not for Denver yet. rcgiggles Posted July 30, 2006 Report Posted July 30, 2006 Perhaps I'm missing something, but when I click on any of the links to view a map, I get a big, empty square with no map. Is there something else I need to do??
thereuare Posted July 30, 2006 Author Report Posted July 30, 2006 Send us a PM with the following info (how ever much you know):Browser (usually Internet Explorer, Firefox, Safari)Operating System (Win98, Win2000, WinXP, or Apple)Processor Speed (Pentium 2.8Mhz as an example)Memory (128MB, 256MB, etc)Do you block java script from running? thereuare Posted August 5, 2006 Author Report Posted August 5, 2006 Any chance of a map coming for Honolulu?Thank blindman (as we do :) ) as his work has enabled us to add all the Hawaiian Islands to the priceline maps:Hawaii - Big IslandHawaii - HonoluluHawaii - KauaiHawaii - MauiThis is a good opportunity to point out a really cool feature that many may not be viewing. If you click SATELLITE on the map (top right corner) you'll see a satellite image of the area with the hotels overlayed. Do so for Honolulu and look to the right of the hotels and you can actually see Diamond Head crater (as well as the wake of some speed boats in the water in front of the beach area), do so for Kauai and you can see just how green and undeveloped the island is, etc, etc. Thanks again to blindman for all of his contributions to the maps, and other, sections of the board. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
larrylaffer Posted August 25, 2006 Report Posted August 25, 2006 I am new here but this is an awesome feature. A big congratulations to all the contributors.
ohioisforme Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Hi, I just found you and I'm thrilled. Due to human nature, I'm reading few directions. Due to two toddlers, I'm short on time. I get maps of other areas, but nothing for New Orleans. What's a girl to do??
Blueskies Posted September 21, 2006 Report Posted September 21, 2006 Do you not see the link at the beginning of this post? Page 1 Post 1
thereuare Posted September 23, 2006 Author Report Posted September 23, 2006 Another thank you to blindman for compiling the data for the Priceline Denver Map after it was requested above. As always, let us know if anyone encounters any issues or problems. bubblls Posted August 29, 2009 Report Posted August 29, 2009 VERY Impressive. Thanks. If I wanted to hear the pitter patter of little feet, I'd put shoes on my cats.
Mirad Posted September 1, 2009 Report Posted September 1, 2009 Here's an updated map of NY/New Jersey's hotels : <link removed>Could anyone help me classify the hotels shown on the map (click the above-mentioned link) into the 4 following categories? They are the categories I have to choose from when using "Name your price". (I'm trying to get a hotel close to Columbia University and would love to get the Hilton/Marriott, etc. in a safe neighborhood) I'm obviously not from that area lol...Thanks!1-Paramus - Hackensack 2-Ridgefield 3-Saddle Brook-Hasbrouck Heights 4-Teaneck - Fort Lee
thereuare Posted September 1, 2009 Author Report Posted September 1, 2009 Mirad,The PRICELINE links have session IDs in them and therefore "expire", the link had posted only goes to the home page. However, i'm not really sure what you're trying to accomplish since Columbia University is in NYC and the areas above you've listed are in New Jersey.Regardless, please start a NEW TOPIC in the Priceline New York or Priceline New Jersey based upon where it is that you're actually looking to stay and we'll try to assist you there. Please use these PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links to begin your travel purchases. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
PrisonBull Posted November 24, 2009 Report Posted November 24, 2009 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler areas. I know there is price gouging going on during that time but there are deals before hand.Any chance on a map of this area being added? Several of my friends use Priceline and I recommended this site to them.
thereuare Posted November 24, 2009 Author Report Posted November 24, 2009 We're working on something further/special for the map feature of the board which is consuming any free resources at the moment, but unfortunatley it won't likely be completed by Jan 2010. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases
