hohogap
Hotwire has a new type of listing (at least to me) where they are offering a "Limited hot Rate" for a 3 1/2 * hotel in Santa Rosa, CA which doesn't disclose any of the ammenities. The only 3 1/2* hotel listed on the Hotwire list of hotels on the BB site is the Hilton Sonoma Round Tree Barn. At $60/night that's at least a 50% discount and would be a great bargain. The Fountaingrove down the hill is listed as a 4* in the BB Hotwire Hotel Listings, but I'd rather pay more and get the 3 1/2* Hilton than get the 4* Fountaingrove. Any thoughts on identifying what hotel this "Limited hot Rate" might be? Thanks for all of your help and as always, all my bids AND bookings are made through the BB site. Link to comment
thereuare
I'm not seeing the limited rate offer when searching your dates, but if you click the CONTINUE button next to this offering i suspect you'll see that the zone of this Limited Rate property encompasses much of the region, not just the Santa Rosa zone... does it also include Napa, which does have multiple 3.5* properties? Please use the PRICELINE and HOTWIRE links on the board to begin your travel purchases. hohogap
No, it just included the Santa Rosa area, but you are right, the "Limited hot Rate" is now gone. Probably was the Fountaingrove because in my opinion (having stayed at both hotels) the Hilton is a far higher star quality rating that Fountaingrove (which is still a fine 3* hotel). Link to comment
