dahammer
no need to double post, if you are successful, we will move your topic to the correct section of the board. For your HOTWIRE listing, what are the amenities shown and your dates of travel. Link to comment
megabass
Well dates of travel are this weekend 12/15/12/17. A 2.5 star hotel was shown in Big Bear Lake area. Amenities include it is a Boutique hotel, high speed internet, pool, business center, etc. Room is 115/nite. Anyone know maybe what hotel this could be? Thanks for the help... Link to comment
thereuare
We would be using the amenities associated with the hotel to help figure it out, so posting only a partial list and adding "etc" doesn't really help much. Please include the complete list of amenities that HOTWIRE associates with this property. Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
megabass
Thanks for the quick reply!! Ok the amenities are Boutique Hotel, Pool, High Speed Internet Access, Complimentary Breakfast, Business Center, Children's Activity Program for a total of 6 amenities Link to comment
thereuare
"Boutique" can be a tricky classification with any of the opaque providers, as there is so much room left for interpretation. To be Boutique means "hip, trendy, chic, etc" which is mutually exclusive of a 2.5* property... so i would be very careful with this one. While this hotel has not yet been identified, i'd fear it could be the Thundercloud Resort for which the reviews are pretty bad. This property is located across from a bowling alley (strike number one... pun intended :) ) and maybe that's what they consider "children's activities"? Just a guess, but i'd be prepared for it being this or something similar, given that it is classified as both 2.5* and Boutique, which usually isn't possible in my book.If you do try it please use this HOTWIRE link and let us know how it goes.Personally i'd look elsewhere... try using our BetterChecker to easily search elsewhere in the area. megabass
Thanks for the help, I may just go through the regular way of gettin a place since their are so few major chain hotels or resorts in this area. Thanks I'm going to use that betterchecker site from now on... Link to comment
