  1. No I don't....I am guessing its the Sandman. I do qualify for govt rates and can get a pretty decent rate at the Marriott Residence for $83 and it includes free high speed and breakfast, and evening reception. I am thinking I am better off going with this at this point. By the time I add taxes and exchange it will be about $25 more and I 'know' where I am staying. Not too keen on the Sandman - been there done that one! LOL Thanks for your help!
  2. Thanks I think I am going to try it. I just tried 4* downtown at $60 on priceline hoping to get the pinnacle and it was a no-go. We really need a pool for my 9 yr old, so this at least seems like a sure bet. You don't think this is the Hyatt do you? I doubt it would be. I am not even sure its the Holiday Inn because that isn't listed in the ent. district. I am leaning towards this being the Sandman. I will let you know if I do this and what I win. Just taking a weekend away business/pleasure mixed. Dont want to spend a fortune.
  3. DUH sorry - its a 3* and for 2 nights. I am also thinking Sandman Downtown or the Coast?
  4. For this weekend (fri/sat) - $56 Vancouver Ent. District Rest/Pool/Fitness/Laundry I am 'thinking' the Holiday Inn downtown???? Any thoughts?
  5. I was just able to try 49, then $54 and no luck. I have a room booked at the BW for $69, but was hoping to get somethign cheaper. Just no inventory out there right now. Oh well!
  6. Thanks. I just tried $36 for this fri-sun, and rejected. Added my free re-bid and went high to $45 and rejected. Must be limited availability. Darn!

  8. On a budget so tried 2.5* at $25 for fun. Rejected. Added a free rebid zone (Only one rebid zone avail) at $32 and rejected. I have lots of time so will wait my 72 hours and try again. Someone I know going the same dates tried up to $37 and was rejected.
  9. Here is an awesome map to show the locations.. http://www.geocities.com/ashpsyche/Disneyl...andLinkMap.html I am not endorsing this site at all other than the ease of seeing where the hotels are in relation to the park. I don't know if this guy gets kick back from ressies made from here, but I don't believe he does, as when you go to the site, it doesn't appear it is going through a link that gives him a commission. Another map is found here... (although its a bit older) http://www.beachcalifornia.com/dlmp.html I still would suggest coming to this wonderful board and making ressies via here when you can! This site is a valuable resource!! Just use those 2 for research!
  10. I started with 3* Disneyland area @ $32, rejected Added a free re-bid zone until they were all gone, increasing gradually up to $45 and nothing was taken. I do have a reservation at a motel across from Disney for $49, but it is definately a basic motel, and was hoping to get something nicer. I know there is some big convention in that those days, because the Westcoast Anaheim is completely sold out as well as a few others in the convention area. I guess this is really affecting priceline! I would go for a 2.5*, but some on that list are not worth 2.5* to me, and not much different from what I am booked to stay in. I can't bid again now...leaving on Friday, but thought I would share the rejected bids. I bid through a great site that came highly recommended (wink) called savingsbarn.com.
  11. When I enter my bid amount, I get the little bar that says 'This offer has a very small chance of being accepted' and as I up my bid, it goes away....I was playing with it on Anaheim and it seems it goes away at $29 on a 3*. What are other's experiences with this? Do you bid at the price where it went away, or go a little higher? Thanks.
  12. OMG I have been banned! LMAO. I have NO clue why. I went on today and said I was going to do a re-bid soon, and needed advice, and the dates were the same, and the hotels were the same $$. Thats IT - that is all i did. LMAO. Maybe she saw me posting over here too on the same dates (diff user name) and clued in?. Oh well...off to look anyway.....she is so stupid to not realize that we can simply still go look - even sign up again and post after our ip and username has been banned... LMAO Edited to add: I did not even know about this board until after I had posted my first rejected bids over there a few days ago, so thought I would see if anyone who had followed my bids had a thought. I have since found this board and really no need for the evil board anymore :)
  13. Hotwire changed their inventory....here is what is there now... These are Disney South - any ideas now? I am guessing the 3.5* is still the Crowne. 3.5* $86 Customer Favorite! 14. But I have to say I LOVE THIS FORUM. I just wanted to say thank you to the people who are running it for running a very friendly board. I have been to another that seems to be run like the military and really puts people off even wanting to go there (I am sure you all know what I am talking about!), and this board is soooo friendly and helpful......and well...THANKS! I will be doing all of my bidding via this website so you guys get the commissions (small as they may be.....but I would rather you have them :)

  17. I just found your board and it seems that you guys can't figure out that one 3* Disney North Hotel. It is the 4 Points Sheraton Fullerton. This one came up as a fluke back in around October for $12-$13 a night. Something went wrong somewhere. So a bunch of us from a Disney board jumped on it. Go to tripadvisor and read the reviews. I had a TERRIBLE experience here and the only saving grace was it was only 12 bucks a night. If I had paid the $50-60 on hotwire I would have been really upset! It is NOT close to DL (15-20 mins in light traffic) and they run only a morning and evening shuttle. I would only stay at this hotel if there was a conference there I had to attend. I believe the amenties when I got it were pool, restaurant, laundry, bus center, internet - can't think of what else. I also believe it said customer fave. I hope this helps someone out. Right now I am trying to figure out that 2.5* Disney South for May 1-3rd @ 53/nt. No luck yet!
