  1. Thank you. Your guessing helped me to make my decision. and it is The Los Angeles Athletic Club. Very happy about it. You might need to add it to your hotel list : ) And I did use the HOTWIRE link from this website. Hotel Amenities Free Breakfast Free Internet Indoor pool(s) Business Center Accessibility •Accessible for the blind •Accessible for the deaf •Accessible path of travel •In-room accessibility •Wheelchair accessible •Accessible bathroom •Handicapped parking •Roll-in shower
  2. 8/13 to 8/15 2 rooms , 4 adults +2 children By the way, I always use HOTWIRE link from this website.
  3. since it is 95% recommended, and 4/5 tripadvisor review. I think that it might be Luxe City Center Hotel. but it is not on the hotwire list for LA downtown .
  4. 4* boutique hotel downtown LA, free breakfast and free internet, possible ? Amenities Free Breakfast Free Internet Indoor pool(s) Business Center Accessibility •Accessible for the blind •Accessible for the deaf •Accessible path of travel •In-room accessibility •Wheelchair accessible
  5. Just to share with everyone. this hotel is quite obvious with 95% recommendation and free parking / free breakfast, etc. I did use the HOTWIRE link from this website.
  6. first tried $51, rejected. Then tried $55, accepted. In fact, I only need to pay $45, because priceline has some bonus cash $10/room/night, up to $50. require 2 nights minimum stay. Used betterbidding PRICELINE link.
  7. It is Edison-Woodbridge zone. 100% sure. Do you think the parking lots on Staten Island be will easily filled even on weekends? We plan to be there before 10am on Saturday.
  8. I wondered why you got the Sheraton Edison Hotel Raritan Center ? I just got Sheraton @ Woodbridge Place for $45. Maybe because yours is on weekdays? Sheraton @ Woodbridge Place has a better review. And they have two queen beds other than two double beds, which is really great for our 4 people group.
  9. I used SavingsBarn.com to book the hotel. choose Edison-Woodbridge, check in 10/28, check out 10/30 try $40 for 3*, rejected. try $40 for 2.5*, hope to get the Hilton Garden Inn, rejected. Then use another account, try $45 for 3*, get Sheraton At Woodbridge Place. Sheraton at Woodbridge Place 515 Route 1 South Iselin, New Jersey, 08830 As I know, this is a great hotel. And many people got it for $45, as I checked from another bidding site. But nobody listed it here. BTW, I will spend one day in NYC. Since we have four people, it is a little expensive to take the train. We plan to drive to Staten Island and take the free ferry. Is it a good choice? Anybody has other suggestions?
  10. ayz75: Did you call Hyatt to request a two beds room? I called them but they told me that I can only make such request when I check in.
  11. As in my last post, I tried to bid a two-night hotel, but I couldn't get it. So I decided to try seperately then I only got it for Thanksgiving Day. I think that I may give 11/26 another try after 72 hours, but the chance is tiny. Maybe I will spend another night at Philadelphia. I really appreciate thereuare , who helped me a lot. But I feel very sorry that I forgot to use the SavingsBarn.com link. I just wanted to try and I didn't think that I can get it. However, I will bid another night and I will do a lot of travels in the future, I will keep in mind to use the link. This is a wonderful board and we should really do something for it. BTW, best wishes to thereuare's family and the coming baby!
  12. Then how do you think of DoubleTree? Is it a good place to stay? I would like to try $60 for 25--27 or 26--28. And my another question is that we are four people, and we only want to book one room. Do you think that it is easy to get a two-bedded room in DoubleTree. And how do you think of the nearby area such as Secaucus, how much I should bid for a 3* hotel there?
  13. Yes, I want two nights. I tried 11/19--11/21, 11/20---11/22, 11/25--11/27, 11/26--11/28. I just try to visit NYC this month, because I think that it might be too cold in Dec. So, how should I bid to get a good deal? Thanks!
  14. I want to travel to NYC this month. And I plan to stay in Jersey city. I am so lucky to find this forum, so I decide to bid the hotel on priceline as you guys did. I found that many of you got the $37 good deal, and I tried for all the weekends in this month but I couldn't get it. Is it too late to get such a good deal for this month? Then how much I should bid? should I try nearby area? Hope to get some tips! Thanks!
