Yes sorry the zone is Kapaa-Lihue-Koloa But that zone is half of the Island. Priceline did a bad job of zoning this island. the hotel is not to far from airport. This bid was for a friend who is going 4 days before our wedding. I am getting married at the Hyatt and I am staying there. She wanted to go 4 days earlier. Will give you detailed questions tonight. PS We got engaged at the Hyatt and know some of the sites. Then we go to MAui. If you got info on the Waliea area and things to do for honeymoon? We stay 10 days there. thanks

Rental car (Lih) Midsize $24 (8-10/8-19) Took many bids for the car rental too. August must be busy time of the year and move money too. :) Please note most people get $18 for this type of car. $24 is high , but cheaper than the $33 most other companys wanted.

resort* KAUAI Radisson (8-10/8-14) $110 Wanted the 3* Sheraton first because of the area (popui) We got the Radisson. I read mixed reviews on this hotel. Anyone have a clue if this hotel is nice or a rat trap? BTW took over 5 bids (really long time) to get this winning bid.

Thereuare. He posted the area it is Kaanapali. There are not too many 4.5* in that area. Also not many 5*. So I looked at june and his price came up. Then I tried for August and $300 came up. I can understand it going up, but double? Priceline does go up a little or just does not have the rooms. Sometimes Hotwire prices go higher than what you can get it for on other sites. Don't get me wrong I do like hotwire ,but sometimes I feel they gauge you. Priceline is Low 99% of the time and I can not say that for hotwire. Hotwire is a good second choice for me. They have hotels that priceline does not carry.

:) Well I am confused and disapointed the Westin 4 1/2 * is $300 for the month of AUG. Where does hotwire get the nerve to charge over double for same hotel. I also read somewhere that the 5* is the HYatt but that is $325 for same month. Wow this is so wrong I don't know where to start

What are the 5* hotels on MAUI and Big ISLAND Hotwire lists the following 5* hotels. Does anyone know what they are or have a educated guess? You can really help us if you know. List MAUI: Ka'anapali $307 Kapalua $325 BIG ISLAND: Kohala Coast $192 (customer favorite) Also if you know of any 4 1/2* that is fantastic please post that info here. Thanks everyone

Yes I am looking for the Hyatt on Kauai. Hotwire did Have it up, I think? For $255. Then they raised it too $298. Now not avail. Also Orbitz had it for $275. Now Not avail. I have other older Hotwire win bids. If I can remember them I will post them. Again Please Advertise in major search engines. I feel your non-bais against hotwire or Priceline makes you the FOURM to get all your info from. I for one will support you. Thanks for the warm welcome

Worth the extra price compaired to other 4* to 4.5* It is located across the street from the MET. central park is a block away. The area is not as noisy as times square. The staff is great. The hotel is pure luxury. The food is pricey. $17 for a hamburger. The rooms are of nice size and 5 blocks away is my favorite coffee house called "LE PAIN" I can not say enough about the hotel Hotwire charged me $175 and I saw that others were getting a priceline rate of $125. When I tried priceline at $170 I was declined. So I wanted the Hyatt and went with hotwire

Please add the stanhope hyatt to your HOTEL list. It is a great hotel. I just found your website by chance :) I want to thank you for posting about HOTWIRE hotels. I hope your fourm takes off like TOBB. They wont let you talk about Hotwire for whatever reason. I asked and just got rude answers or no answer. I just wanted to thank you for doing this (I too was thinking of making a fourm for Hotwire, till I found yours) Ps I was looking for more info on Hawaii (hotwire) hotels Would you know where else I could go to get that info thanks Keep up good work and not excluding Hotwire
