I followed the PRICELINE link below, bid $16 for an Economy car and my price was accepted first try...guess I should have started at $14! lol Great site here!!!

I have the same situation and we're bringing our 10 month old too. What about Priceline, is it not an option if you need a double/double?

I used the PRICELINE link below I bid, $30 2 days ago, $34 yesterday, and $36 just now and it was accepted. I see the hotel has a huge water slide my son is going to love.

Wholly S%#T Batman...WHAT A DUMP!!! Construction noise all day, dust and debris everywhere, no food, no room service when the elevators were broken, busted lock on door. TripAdvisor has reduced this 3-star hotel to a 1-STAR!! Motherf'ers, I'm on hold with Hotwire Express Customer Service right now as my infant started coughing during the night. No signs to avoid walking through the construction, no safety notices, and really nothing to keep the construction debris away from the customers. When the elevators didn't work one evening I walked down the stairs only to find that I was locked out, but really locked in as the door behind me would not open and the steel-gate in front of me was nearly rusted shut. It took all 260lbs I have to side kick it open to find myself in a totally dark alley behind the hotel. What a friggin nightmare. Stay away from this property.

3.5-star hotel in Santa Rosa - Rohnert Park - Petaluma This hotel features the following amenities: Fitness Center Pool(s) Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Hilton Sonoma Wine Country 3555 Round Barn Boulevard, Santa Rosa, CA, 95403 (707) 523-7555 RIGHT ON!! I checked out the hotel on BetterBidding first and was confident it was the Hilton. I checked the Priceline forums here as well and was confident I'd get the Sheraton if I used Priceline, the Hilton seemed a better choice for where I need to be, and bang...$59 for a hotel that sells for no less than $81 on the web site with pre-payment.

somehow the price listed is incorrect, I must have typod, it's $59/night not $159/night!

3-star hotel in Civic Center South - Hayes Valley Fitness Center Business Center High-speed Internet Access Looks like they've changed their amenities from what BetterBidding has listed, still a great deal. Saved $20/night vs. their best "pay-now" deal.

I noticed this too when doing my search for 4/14-4/17, no amenities listing for the 3 star in Japantown, I wonder if it's the Golden Gateway as I don't see any other 3 stars on BetterBidding's list. I wish there were a way to HOTWIRE / PRICELINE parking in San Francisco as all but 1 property I know of charge $32/day for parking.

I had no problem taking one for the team on this. I only booked my 1st night to "test the waters" so to speak. I immediately contacted Hotwire and they took care of me. Hotel Del Sol would've been wonderful...maybe next time. The guy at the front desk of Hotel Del Sol did tell me that he has checked in people who've used Hotwire in the past so there is hope.

3* 4/14-4/17 $59 San Francisco (Japan Town - Civic Center North) , anyway to tell if it's the Golden Gateway or the Cathedral Hill Hotel I clicked continue and there are some Trip Advisor Stats but I don't know how to use them to differentiate, can you help?

To follow up, let me say, I LOVE THIS SITE!!! BetterBidding has helped me so much it's unbelievable!!! Just look at the trip I have tomorrow to LA for $69/night @ The Radisson when they're selling room for $189. But I digress...I contacted Hotwire Customer Support via email. They replied in 25 minutes with a special phone number for me to call. I called, no "push this number for this and that number for that" a person answered, I told her my situation. I explained that TripAdvisor a site I trust, as well as Hotwire, has the hotel listed as a 2-star and not a "Boutique" as listed in the amenities. She fixed everything and I'll be able to book another room in San Fran tomorrow.

Darn it all, and I don't blame you or anyone here, I'm going to file a claim with Hotwire because I received the Marina Inn, not a 2 1/2 star and not a Boutique hotel, in reality Trip Advisor has them listed as a 2 star dump with dozens of horrible reviews and no parking.

where do you see TripAdvisor stats?

wow, I might just do that, the buy the first night thing because I'd love to stay at the Hotel Del Sol, but my "alarm" is going off because the hotel lists a Pool and Laundry which HOTWIRE does not list in the amenities. thoughts?

Just thought you should know. I used the link on the bottom of the page to get to PRICELINE. The going rate on Hotwire for a fullsize car @ LAX was $31.95/day and the going rate directly with Hertz was $63/day you do the math. $20/day 3/13-15 & $18/day 3/20-22

Clicked on the link on the bottom of the page to bring up HOTWIRE, identified the hotel as the Radisson and clicked purchase!!! Actually purchased the previous weekend the same way.
