I never have accepted it in the past but I had been bidding for days and was unable to get anything. I'd rather pay that instead of the actual full price considering it was the night before going on this trip. $66 was accepted and upgraded to a 3.5*

Star ratings only go up to 2.5*'s. You don't get any rebids unless you do choose both towns. I only wanted a hotel in Calexico though. 1st try $25 - rejected 2nd try $30 - rejected 3rd try $35 - rejected 4th try $40 - rejected 5th try $47 - accepted Although I live in the Imperial Valley, I still called the Hotel to verify where they were located, as my sister swore one of the hotels nearby closed down. The guy was not helpful at all. Pretty lame but unfortunately that is how a lot of people are in Calexico. Got the hotel for a family member, will see what they thought about it.

Rooms are pretty clean and comfy, I was pretty happy with it. Except my last stay in June...the stupid room I got smelled of smoke even though they gave us a "non-smoking" room. There is self parking for $20, it's pretty expensive considering the small space they give you and the overcrowd of cars! it's hard finding an available space at night. You end up parking in the most random area ever(still in the parking structure)! it some what works out...just make sure no one hits it! In a previous post, I had stated that I was unable to get one hotel for two nights. So I will end up staying at a Doubletree the first night, then off to Hilton the second night. I HATE unpacking and repacking / changing hotel rooms. Gets a bit stressful as I take FOREVER to make sure I did not leave anything behind. The rooms are spacious and clean. Breakfast there is AWESOME, you gotta try it but it's a bit pricey. The only thing bugging me right now is that I needed Friday night as well but it seems that that night is completely booked but at least I know where I'm staying at 2/3 of nights I'll be in LA. haha Thx guys! :)
