  1. It isn't a big deal; more of an inquiry. I didn't know if there was a simple solution. I can get a $ 9 shuttle and spend a hour. I was able to pick up the Monte carlo for $ 71/night.
  2. It had been 40+ hours since my last bid and the note came up saying that I had to wait 24 hours to rebid. I'll just wait it out and bid in two nights to meet the 72 hour requirment, being that I also have plenty of time left.
  3. The buffet at the Rio is also hard to bet for the price, especially at lunch.
  4. I bit higher that the mid-week rate that was obtained by another user last week for a different week. I assumed that I was going to get Plant Hollywood. Assumed that Treasure Island wasn't going to be there for the Strip North option from a prior comment. 2 days total = $ 164.99 Bid history Day one for South zone only with other free bid zones used on Airport, Nelliss, Summerlin, and combination there of. Bids of $ 60, $ 62, $ 65, $ 67, & $ 69 each got the For an additonal $ 17 option. Day two for North zone only with free bid zones: Bids of $ 70, $ 75, $ 80 - Only got the For an additional $ 22 option on the $ 75 bid. Comined North and South zones with one free bid zone. Bids of $ 65 & $ 71. For those that might hae stayed at both, which would you rather have won between the Monte Carlo and Planet Hollywood? I know some sites have the Monte Carlo rated as a 3 1/2 stars with a lower room rate.
  5. Combined Vegas and National Parks trip. If I don't need the car until the third day of my trip when I depart Las Vegas, will I have to incur the cost to go back to LAS to get the car or is there a method in place to pick-up the car at a Vegas strip location and return it at LAS upon returning to the Las Vegas area?
  6. Accepted on first bid on 3 star - Bid top 4 zones in Denver area. Rejected in (Westminster-Broomfield) & (Cherry Creek). $ 49.00 - At just a fraction of the posted price on Marriot's site. Had not ready expected to get this one, being that the bid was only $ 1 above the little chance notification.
  7. Update heading to Premium. That grade is my "standard".
  8. Now I understand about Stapleton and why I have seen that hotel take out an exceeding larger number of bids for that area. Trying to book more up toward Boulder anyway.
  9. Saw that Hotwire was showing a $5.00 discount on luxury, so I went for the upgrade on priceline 08/16 -22 (Thu. - Wed.) Initial bid: Luxury at $ 29.00 - Took over 60 seconds for them to reject it. Rebid: Premium at $ 27.00 (My normal accepted standard). Accepted for a savings of $ 49.08 for the premium vehicle, Priceline versus Hotwire, by one of the larger rental companies. Now to go do the 4 star hotels.
