  1. Started bidding on the PRICELINE link from this site. Started at $65 and went up $2 each time, won at $91. With tax and services $110.
  2. Started with the PRICELINE link on this site. My offer was accepted for the following: Sheraton Park Hotel At The Anaheim Resort November 10, 2009 - November 12, 2009 Per Night: $75.00 Subtotal: $150.00 Taxes & Fees: $27.48 Total Charges*: $177.48 Took 4 days to get this hotel, started in the $40's on the first day, $50's on the second day, and $60's on the third day. Was finally able to get it on the fourth day for $75. Each time I went up a couple dollars and used all the free bids I could. It is a little higher then I thought, but the website has the price at $200 a night for the same dates. Thanks for this site!
  3. Sorry for posting after the trip, but was in a crunch to take the vacation and get back into the swing of things. Great webiste by the way, really helps you have a starting point. Was able to get the Westin in Times Square and it was a great hotel. Great location and really nice. There were two of us traveling, but wanted two beds, called ahead of time and was told, "No, you used Priceline, sorry". Called the day of and was told, "No, you used Priceline, sorry". While checking in, asked the front desk and was told, "No, you used Priceline, sorry". Now I use Priceline for most of my vacation trips and this was the first time I was referenced to Priceline so many times. Well, needless to say we were LUCKY. The front desk lady was really nice and came back from the back (Where she was at for 5 minutes, and I was thinking they did not even have our room) and said, "I thought is would not hurt to ask, our suite is available and it still only has one king bed, but has a sofa, are you ok with that?" Are we ok with that? PLUS, since we were in a suite, we had access to the Club Level items (Free breakfast, dinner appettizers, internet, work-out). Now, don't go asking for these perks, we were just lucky and I had to tell you all. Good luck and hopefully you have a great experience as we did. 9. It was in the Waikiki South that got the winning bid. The only 3 groups that I used was Waikiki South, Waikiki North and Honolulu Airport (since I knew that one only had a 1* or 2* choice). Thanks.
  10. December 7 - December 14 Your Offer Price: $70 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 5 Subtotal: $525 Taxes & Service Fees: 72.70 Total Charges: $562.70 Did my research through this website, and the hotwire comparison. I started by trying for Resorts or 4* but did not want to pay more then $100/night. Read reviews on 3* places in Honolulu and they were not all that pleasant. Did know someone that stayed at the Beachcomber a couple years back and actually enjoyed it very much and said it did not feel like a 2.5* place. So with the help of this website I was able to work my way up to a $70 win. I did start bids at $50 and worked my way up by $5 increments. Just made another reservation for family and got the same deal.
  11. Your Offer Price: $55.00 Number of Rooms: 1 Number of Nights: 1 Subtotal: $55.00 Taxes & Service Fees: 15.26 Total Charges: $70.26 Did my research through this website, and the hotwire comparison. I tried $50 but it did not pick up, so at $55 it was the price. This website is really helpful. Even for someone that has been using Priceline for many, many years. Thanks.
  12. Was in Scottsdale for a weekend (April 29 - May 1, 2005) and was able to get this hotel on priceline for $100/night. My wife and I were really impressed with hotel staff, the hotel grounds and the room. It was a nice and relaxing trip and this hotel helped make this trip wonderful. The only draw back we had was there were plenty of banquets and meetings taking place that weekend on the grounds. The main pool was closed all day, but they did give us drink coupons for the inconvience. There is a $12/day resort fee tacked on. But it includes the local calls and parking, which valet is included, just need to do the tipping. The rooms were very spacious and contained two beds and a bathroom with two sinks. The hotel must of been busy with all the things going on in the hotel, however from our room we never heard anyone, except the birds outside the windows that live in the moss. It reminded us of Hawaii. Great place outside Phoenix and close to downtown Scottsdale and other activities. Would highly recommend this hotel.
  13. On first try I got a resort hotel in Scottsdale, AZ. We were very pleased with the hotel and the grounds. They picked it up for $100/night.
