There may be 1 star hotels that you'd be comfortable staying in, but there are probably others that are not, and since you can't choose which type you will get it's often best to stay away from the bottom rung star quality.Also, while the suggested retail HOTWIRE gives is often no correct, there is a hotel somewhere in the area at that price. Add $6-$7 booking fee onto the above and you're looking at a $3-$4 savings per nite over the suggested retail. Better off searching Expedia or Hotels.com and picking something that you know is acceptable.
