gasman
I have an exam on the 19th and a review class on the 16th and 17th. I want to come in early and get used to the time change (coming from LA). I've been trying to book close (1 mile or less) from the Capitol Hilton 1001 16th St NW, Washington, DC 20036 so I can have a nice walk to the test (at the Hilton). I was hoping to get a close to 100/night room. Help please. Thank you. Link to comment
thereuare
Have you already tried bidding? If so, what was the amount of your highest rejected bid?I assume (White House-Downtown) is the only zone you're currently willing to bid? Please use this HOTWIRE and these PRICELINE LINKS: HOTELS, CAR RENTALS, and AIRFARE to begin your travel purchases Link to comment
gasman
my highest rejected bid was 150/night. Whitehouse downtown, or capitol hill would be fine. Link to comment

dahammer
please keep all posts for your dates in the same thread. What are the star ratings and amenities shown using HOTWIRE? Link to comment
thereuare
I'm confused... you have already bid up to $150 and were rejected but you're trying to keep your cost at $100?Please explain. gasman
I don't know if there is a variation. I had seen others on the hotwire side say they have rooms at 89 dollars so I tried posting there. I was told to start a new thread when I replied to another thread. I also thought I was supposed to start different threads for priceline and hotwire topics. I got confused. I apologize for that. I think mainly at this point I need to follow up hotwire leads. thereuare
I was told to start a new thread when I replied to another thread.Right, that is this thread.I also thought I was supposed to start different threads for priceline and hotwire topics. No, keep all posts for the same stay in the same thread... this makes it easier to follow what has been tried and the alternatives. As this thread is in the Priceline forum, if you ultimately use HOTWIRE, we'll then edit the title to reflect the results and also move the entire thread to that section of the board. This also helps cut down on threads which have no resolution to them... as users would typically only follow-up the thread for which they won (be it priceline or hotwire) and wouldn't post any conclusion to the thread with the 'other' service. I think mainly at this point I need to follow up hotwire leads. If there are HOTWIRE hotels you are interested in, post the zone, star rating, and full list of amenities that HOTWIRE associates with the property. Also, am i correct above that you have already bid up to $150?
