ndnpapa
Given that there are a multitude of free re-bids in Philly at 4*s and that folks have been able to get the Hyatt at great prices, I started at $41. I added $5 per re-bid and exited and re-entered. At $96, I gave up. I'll try again in a day. Otherwise, I may stay in another town and drive into Philadelphia for meetings that day.BTW ... I think that I just found the "emotional" maximum that I'm willing to bid on Priceline. I can't bring myself to bid $100 on a Priceline hotel, even though the price may be better than other options. I'm just an emotional guy!Used SavingsBarn.com link. Link to comment
GM Mike
When you were re-bidding, were you adding free re-bid ZONES, or just bidding Downtown 4* at a higher price? Link to comment
ndnpapa
Hi GMMike: I don't think I understand the question. Since I don't, I'll just describe what I did. First, there was only one Philly area with a 4* hotel that night (downtown). I started with downtown and 4*s at $41 and added one zone with each bid and added $5 with each bid. Once I got to the last available area, I exited Priceline, re-entered via SavingsBarn (again) and picked Downtown and that last remaining area and 4*s. I then continued adding the newly-available areas and adding $5 with each bid. I quit at $96.Please let me know if I'm not answering what you want to know. Thanks again to all of y'all who make this site so great!!! Link to comment
