  1. Won this last night 3* Orange County (Disneyland-Anaheim) Holiday Inn and Suites Anaheim As always, use the PRICELINE link for your hotel purchase Thank you betterbidding
  2. Hi thereuare Your understanding was correct. I am looking for zone 1, 2 ,4, 5, and 9 (Priceline zone). I think I understand about rebidding zone now. Can I confirm rebidding zone for 3* in LA (based on Priceline) are zone 5 and 6? I still have no luck though. I went up to $70 and was still rejected. Do you think I need to break my booking into two hotels? I tried Pasadena area too and my bidding was rejected too. Oh btw, my LA stay from 7 Jan to 10 Jan ( Check out on 11 Jan)
  3. Hi My goal is actually the least expensive 3* or better in acceptable zones ( Decided not to include culver city in my acceptable zone now) . I am not familiar with rebidding zone for 3*
  4. Will be in LA between 5 January to 10 January 2011 Try to keep our budget low (since we probably will need pay parking fees between $15 to $30 per night) Budget is between $50 to $70 (excluding tax ) per night for 3* hotel I prefer to stay in Santa Monica (zone 9) or west hollywood and holywood (zone 1 and 5). But i am willing to stay at zone 2 and zone 3 too Would be grateful if someone could advise me if my following strategy is ok Opening bid $50 choose zone 1, if rejected, choose zone 9 increase bid by $5, if rejected, choose remaining zone that I happy with If still rejected, close window, opening bid is $60 choose zone 1, if rejected, increase bid by $5 and do the same steps as step 1 Thanks in advance for your help
  5. Thanks to AaronJB and thereuare, i get Downtown Chicago Hyatt Regency for $55 when bidding at PRICELINE.
  6. The Loop and NMA zones , which both are Dowtown Chicago. Hyatt Regency would be nice but I understand we cant really handpick hotel. Love this website. Won a bid for Westin Castle hotel in Toronto for $80/nite through this website link to PRICELINE.
  7. Will be in chicago on January 2 - to January 5,2011 Read someone won a priceline bid for $59 at Chicago (Millennium-Loop-Grant Park) Hyatt Regency, $59 ... 12/3/10-12/6/10 I understand price would be differet for different period. What would be the best strategy for bidding room at 4* @downtown chicago? If possible would like to keep budget under $70 per night (excluding tax). Or is it unrealistic? Otherwise i would be willing to downgrade to 3.5* As always, appreciate your kind help.
  8. Thanks ! I think i will just book directly from PRICELINE or Expedia or Orbitz . Four Points is offered for $61 at PRICELINE. Is there any discount code available for these sites. Sorry I am still finding my way around forum. I think I read it somewhere someone mentioned about discount code in forum.
