Happy to report the property did indeed allow us to have a room with 2 beds. Actually, the priceline reservation automatically booked us into a 2 bed room, so the receptionist didn't need to change anything. This hotel was very pleasant and comfortable to stay in.
Bid 3* Lake Oswego area $44 for 3 nights, received the Hilton Garden Inn. Not exceptionally happy about it based on traveler reviews and this Hotel's policy of not giving 2-bed rooms to priceline bookers. I am traveling with an associate and one bed is not going to be acceptable. I have never ran into a hotel not allowing 2 beds if they were available and I book on Priceline A LOT. I will contact the Hotel prior to arriving and do my best to confirm a 2-bed room. Updates to follow... used the pricline link from here (although I was not logged on at the time)
2.5*Salt Lake City (Airport) SpringHill Suites staying 12/17-12/19/2010. Started with 3* @$40 and priceline counteroffered for an additional $15 (yeah right), added 2.5* and accepted at original bid of $40. I have stayed at this property previously and it is a very nice 2.5*, better IMO than some of the 3*'s in this area as this property includes free breakfast. Used the PRICELINE link from this site.
3* Boise Hyatt Place Boise/Townsquare. Started bid at $40, got this 3* @ $47, 2 rooms, 1 night. This is Boise West zone, did not want to bid downtown, am satisfied with this bid. Used the PRICELINE link from here.
Bidding for 2 nights, 11/19-11/21. Originally started with 3* Sandy South Valley Zone @$35, then rebid 2.5* @$38, then added Airport Zone@$40 and received this Hotel. Have never stayed at a SpringHill Suites, but the website indicates a free breakfast and decent traveler reviews. I did begin my search by using the PRICELINE link from this site.
3* Portland (Lake Oswego-Tigard) Courtyard Tigard 11/26-11/27 $45 have stayed here previously and is a nice location, friendly staff, no breakfast included, but is still a nice property.
