Saw that Hotwire had a similar hotel at $111, so I started at $80. Rejected up to $98, and then bid $100 on my last free redbid and won the Hyatt Regency. Very happy- we won the Westin a couple years ago and were thrilled with the convenience of only a 15 minute ride into Manhattan (and knowing we paid about half of what we would have if we had stayed right in Manhattan).

Thanks so much!! I know, I'm a little annoyed with myself that I was that close and didn't know it- it would have saved me some time and aggravation bidding several nights in a row! I've never heard of this property, but the reviews seem pretty good. I went on their website last night and signed up for their free InTouch program which apparently will get us free WiFi during our stay.

Started at $140 using zones MTW, MTE, TS, ESB, CPS and finally got 70 Park Avenue Hotel in ESB at $168. This was my 3rd night bidding, but the previous nights I had stopped at $165. Past 2 nights I also was given a counter offer asking me to bid $40 more.
