8/31/2010 - Rushed for time (bid at 4pm and checked in at 6pm same day) so bid $75 first. Weston took first bid. Excellent room, great work out facility (plenty of equipment and all of it operated properly), very good seafood restaurant (Oceanaire - try the fatty tuna, amazing) and very helpful staff. Much better than the Le Meridian which is two blocks away and usually takes a bid price of $72. mtucker

$55 for a 4* in the Galleria is a good deal. You will probably get the Le Meridian for that price. Not a bad hotel but a bit eclectic. I struggle with their 4* rating. If you are lucky it will be the Hyatt but usually they are more in the $65 range. Good luck
