  1. I decided to take a chance on the 2 star. It turned out to be the Sleep Inn, 2 Research Ct. Rockville, MD. We paid $57. plus tax per night on Hotwire. I booked through the link on your site. Thanks for your efforts.
  2. The 3.5 star is now $78. and the 2 star is $57. I checked through your site. If you can id these 2 hotels, I would be very appreciative. All the info posted is the same and it's for 2 adults and 2 children 17 and under. (11 and 17)
  3. Sorry, I thought I had it all covered! I neglected to say 2 adults and 2 children 17 years old and under. Thanks for your help.
  4. Can you help ID a 2 star hotel listed on Hotwire at $57. for Rockville/Gaithersburg, MD with the following ammenities; complimentary breakfast, pool, business center, self service (coin operated) laundry, high speed internet (may be a charge) in room, 85% recommend? Also I am comparing with a 3.5 star on Hotwire for the Rockville/Gaithersburg area with the following ammenities: fitness center, pool, restaurant, business center, high speed internet in room (charge may apply). 85% recommend. I am looking for the nights of April 20, 21, checking out on the 22. Any help on an ID for these 2 properties would be appreciated.
  5. I want to let you know that I booked a 3 star in downtown Fort Lauderdale last night on PRICELINE. I bid $100 and was accepted for the Riverside which I think will be perfect for us. It was 2 nights, March 2-4, 2011. I read several posts on CruiseCritic that peaked my interest in this hotel and when I bid I'd looked at the Priceline list of hotels and thought I would have a chance of getting the Riverside. I apologize for not going into PRICELINE through Betterbidding. Somehow I slipped up on that. Thank you for all your help.
  6. I just went into the HOTWIRE site using your link. There is a 2 star hotel for $119, March2-4, 2011. The details are Las Olas-Downtown-port Everglades area shuttle free breakfast business center hi speed internet still gathering reviews on this hotel Can you ID?
  7. I'm wavering on the 3 star if it's Hyatt Place north as I'm thinking I want to be on Las Olas and not need a car. I did see they have an area shuttle. I also saw a 2 star posted at $122. The details are shuttle, free breakfast, business center, hi speed internet. Hotwire is still gathering responses. What hotel might this be? Same dates, of course. 3/2/2011 to 3/4/2011. Thanks again.
  8. I saw a similiar request for this hotel, but I have different dates and have posted separately so that I can follow up on my experience. I am looking at a 3 star Hotwire hotel in Fort Lauderdale, Las Olas-Downtown-Port Everglades. My dates are March 2 - 4, 2011. The ammenities are shuttle, no smoking, free breakfast, fitness, pool, business center, high speed internet. 95% customer satisfaction Please help ID, thank you!
  9. That was quick. I went on line and checked the Best Western out. I want to be much closer to Fort Lauderdale so I won't be getting this hotel. It's 8 miles to the FLL port and 9 to las Olas. I think I'll check out the Las Olas and Fort Lauderdale beach areas instead. Thanks again and I'm sure I'll have more questions. This board saved me a great deal of cash on our Hawaii trip last March!
  10. Thanks for the id. I'm going to check this hotel out further. I think I may go for something closer to the port. I will definately let you know what I end up doing. I feel that I have time on my side so I will just check things out for a few days at least.
  11. Hi, I saw a 2 1/2 star FLL airport hotel for $76. I'm looking for 2 nights, March 2-4, 2011, pre cruise. The ammenities listed on Hotwire are free breakfast, fitness, pool, business center, laundry, and hi speed internet. What is your opinion? Thanks!
  12. Just a quick update! We loved our stay at Aston Papakea. It was a great location and we'd go back. Thanks to Betterbidding for the Hotwire ID. We saved a lot of money and had a great time!
  13. I just got the Doubletree Hotel Seattle Airport, 18740 International Blvd, for $40 plus taxes and fees. for June 11, 2010. I booked 2 rooms for one night pre cruise. I bid 3 star at $40 and was rejected and asked to bid an additional $11. I declined. 24 hours later I bid 3 stars at $40 again. I was rejected and changed the bid to 2 and a half stars, $40. This time I was upgraded to a 3 star and the bid was accepted at $40. Thanks to Betterbidding for the posts and hotel lists.
  14. Thank you, again! I followed this priceline car rental thread and placed a bid on PRICELINE through your site and also booked a car on Maui for $12. The details; OGG, March 13, 1pm to March 24, noon, bid $11. The bid was accepted by National and I was offered a full size car for $1. more. I took that offer. The total with tax came to $214.54. I am very pleased and thank you for saving me a great deal of money!
  15. Thank you! You were correct. Aston At Papakea it is. I booked it through your link. When I get back I'll let everyone know how it was! Thanks for your input.
