We've been trying for about 10 days to secure our London hotel. We bid several times on 5* hotels in the Mayfair-Soho area using the re-bid zones and kept getting rejected. Our highest bid was $210. We were countered several times at $269 per night. We finally took it down a notch and successfully got this property for $140. Yay!

May 19, 2010 - May 24, 2010. First tried 5* at $200 and got rejected. Re-bid adding 4* and reduced price to $140 and WON! Yay! p.s. Priceline and Hotwire Calendar of Wins is super helpful....thank you!

First time bidding on PRICELINE...had to re-bid three times by adding different zones. First bid $95, second bid $106, third bid $109, and then winning bid of $114 for 6 nights. We're thrilled and love Century City so we were very happy to get the InterContinental. YAY! Thanks for the great site - we poured over the tips and advice before making our bids and are so glad we did!
