Today... I put in my first bid of $46 and got the same property for October 17, 2011 to October 18, 2011. i should have started lower, i thought to try $44 first but didn't expect it would work :)

I need a place to rest before driving in to New Orleans Jazz festival.... at 6pm I tried to tonight 4/28-4/29, and went $35... rejected... then tried $39! Got it for $39. Thanks!

I tried to get lower than $40, but no dice (including trying 3* for $37,38,39 in Renton). Happy with this deal.

I was able to get the Hilton for $40 for 12/3 to 12/6.

I just had a night here and also some recent nights at the Omni. The Inter-Continental is smaller bathroom and more elegant/European in style. the pools are nearly identical, but the Omni goes high-tech and puts it on the roof (not so good if the weather is bad)... and Inter-Continental puts it in the basement. The Omni has fancy visible elevators with a great view... the Inter-Continental has more classic elevators. I appreciated both styles. I'd favor the Omni for the high-tech business traveler. Both places were very clean, nice staff.

A very nice place. If you like Jazz, check out the Elephant Room. The Paramount is a great movie theater. the Hideout is a good local coffee shop. BD Riley's is a great adult bar, wonderful food and great people.

I bid $55, $60, $65, $67. I just stayed at the Omni last week for $95, was real happy. I didn't really need this 10/15 night, but it will help me save some time such on a project... so I decided to fish and see if I could get a smokin' deal.

I just tried for the same dates starting at $80 and went up to $120 before giving up... not able to get $120.

I'm a novice here... but just booked the same hotel bidding $60 for 9/3/2009 to 9/6/2009. Total cost came to $216.08. Thank you. Going to see Steely Dan at the Chicago Theater!
