started with $70, then $75, finally got it at $80. i did use the betterbidding PRICELINE link.

i was just looking for a 4 star hotel for a one night stay near the airport. started at $45. was counter offered $55 right away. did not take it. added other areas and offer was accepted at $50. many thanks for the board. i did use the PRICELINE link to start the bid.

i actually wanted the 2* Candlewood Suites Jersey City Exchange Place, which offers free parking and on site laundry. but got upgraded to 3*. thank the board for all the information.

read about a previous bid and did exactly the same. could have tested a lower price but i thought $41 is a bargain already. many thanks to the board.

HOTWIRE shows this hotel with: fitness, Pool, Restaurant, Laundry. for $83 per night. the ameniteis do not fit the 3 * one on your list. any guess what this new one is?
