  1. Used Hotwire hot rate as could use BB coupon for one night stay. Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking . Used HOTWIRE link from this site. Very pleased with this property. $106 Canadian plus taxes.
  2. Started with quick quote from this site for 4.5 star. First bid, name your own price, at $75. Ignored counter offer of $109. Kept bidding up using tons of free re-bid zones. Denied at $94 then accepted at $95. Seattle hotel rates give me sticker shock but still stoked to get a 4.5 star in a good downtown location. Room Subtotal:$95.00 Taxes & Fees:$21.53
  3. Offer Price:$68.00/night Number of rooms:1 Room Number of nights:3 Nights Room Subtotal:$193.35 Hotel Fee1:$102.15 Taxes & Fees:$42.72 Total Charged Today:$236.07 Total Cost:$338.22 Used Name your own price and looks like I overbid. Not happy about hotel fee $102, first time I have been dinged with a resort fee. Did not see the small print about hotel fee so called priceline about it but got nowhere. This is my first bad experience booking with PL. Beware, if you book for the weekend in downtown Palm Springs you will likely end up in Saguaro instead of Renaissance. So please check hotel reviews before you bid.
  4. Room price:$74.00 avg./night Number of rooms:1 room Number of nights:4 nights Amenities: Free Internet (in Room) Outdoor Pool Spa Shuttle Non-Smoking Gym Restaurant Handicap Accessible Business Center
  5. Started bidding at $64 for 3.5 star and added other zones raising bid in two-dollar increments. Got some counter offers at $85 but did not bite on them. Was expecting the Crowne Plaza downtown based on the Express Deals prices but very happy to get the Marriot after reading some TripAdvisor reviews. I originally tried two nights but no luck. When I tried the "add a night" offer at $74 the counter from PL for Saturday night was $210. Holy Motown! Friday prices are way lower than Saturday this weekend in Detroit so may have to alter plans. Used PRICELINE link. Offer Price:$74.00/night Number of rooms:1 Room Number of nights:1 Night Room Subtotal:$74.00 Taxes & Fees:$15.24 Total Charged:$89.24
  6. Offer Price:$74.00/night Number of rooms:1 Room Number of nights:1 Night Room Subtotal:$74.00 Taxes & Fees:$16.30 Total Charged:$90.30 Used name your own price. Initially was bidding for two nights. Started bidding low and upped bid each day. Then changed to one night. Used link from this site to access PRICELINE site. Am happy with this hotel, my first time to Windsor.
  7. Room price:$36.00/night Number of rooms:1 room Number of nights:6 nights My first trip to Disneyland. Just wanted a place to sleep that was near Disney. I know the trip advisor reviews are not great but I'm happy with price and location. Amenities: Free Breakfast Outdoor Pool Non-Smoking Handicap Accessible I used this site's PRICELINE link to click and start my search. This site is wonderful.

    SEATTLE Aug 20-22 Failed bid

Thank you for replies. I ended up booking Green Tortoise hostel so I can be downtown. $37 plus tax for bunk in shared dorm.
  9. Trying to book two nights arriving Tuesday August 20. Usually I end up at an airport hotel and take light rail downtown but prices seem a lot higher this summer. Univ of Washington - Northgate, Seattle Airport (SEA), Lake Union, Seattle Center - Space Needle, Seattle Downtown - Pike Place. Bid incrementally yesterday for 3 stars using the above zones starting at $68 and last failed bid was $84 after adding free rebids Des Moines, Newcastle, Seattle North. Not sure if it's worth trying again and hope prices come down or just booking direct with Moore Hotel downtown, which is no frills place I can get for $68 with shared bathroom. I don't need parking.
  10. Won this hotel tonight using bonus money ($73 + $7 bonus). Started $75 and used Culver City and Inglewood for rebids. PRICELINE prices have gone up since last December when I stayed here. Maybe it's Obama getting the economy moving again. Or maybe I'm bidding too early. Anyway I'm pleased with this property and used the PRICELINE link on this site to begin.

    3 rooms PIKE PLACE

I use Kirkland as a free rebid area as it has no 3 stars or above at the moment. Also when I go to Seattle I stay at Seatac airport area and use the Link light rail to get downtown. Rooms are usually around $45 to $55 for 3 star in that area.
  12. Used $7 per night bonus money from Priceline offer. Started bidding at $45 and added other zones, no joy until $50 accepted. Very pleased as have never been in a Doubletree before. Used PRICELINE link. $215.00 Taxes & Fees: $48.45 Total Charged to Card: $263.45
  13. Win includes some bonus money. Used PRICELINE link from this site. Started at $67 for four stars in downtown. Went down to three and a half stars. Bidding up by two-dollar increments using free re-bid areas. No counter-offers. Won Westin at $75, which is the one I was hoping for. Thank you, better bidding.
  14. Won on first try. Should have started bidding lower. Used PRICELINE link on this site. Very pleased with location but hotel does not have a shuttle from Long Beach airport so I think I will have to pay for a cab. Total room cost $183.15.
  15. Used $5 Cyber Monday bonus money. Started with $39 plus $5 bonus bidding SeaTac 3*. Got counter-offer of $52 which I did not accept. Then added free re-bid and raised bid to $40 plus $5 bonus and won Hilton. Could not be happier with hotel and location beside Link light rail station. Will be attending Seahawks Monday Night Football. Used PRICELINE link from this site to begin. Thank you Better Bidding.
