Hi there, Discovered the board some time ago and thought I was going to share my experience. I was looking to rent a car in Boston from 8/21 to 8/25. The lowest advertised price on Hotwire was for an economic car at $30/day (with taxes etc -- $288). After a series of unsuccessful bids on priceline, I finally scored a $40/day full-size car (from budget). Lowest advertised price on Hotwire and Kayak.com for this car category was $40/day also, but with taxes and all it was about $370... So I basically got a full size, for the price of an economy.... I guess I'm happy ;-)
