  1. That's what I was also wondering... I will just have to call them I guess. Thanks! Anyone know about the White House?
  2. Thanks! Is it correct that after 9/11, the only way to visit the white house is to contact your member of congress and have a background check? I just read that on wikipedia - is that correct? And do you know how I can get tickets to get inside the Washington Monument? I heard the view from it should be amazing
  3. Does anyone of you know if I can book tickets for the White House and the Washington Monument online?
  4. I have bid 4* 235 Dollars and won the Millenium Broadway in the Times Sq Zone using your PRICELINE links - no huge savings, but the hotel is OK. Thanks for your help!
  5. Oh I see, thanks, bidded up to 70 $ for 4* with no success, guess I'm going to stay with the 45$ Motel 6 - but thanks for your help!
  6. I did that, but there is only results for Flagstaff Sedona, and not Flagstaff itself. Just wondering what this means/indicates?
  7. Hmm... still not sure what to do... I just noticed that there might be a cheap 4* hotel Downtown - but downtown seems to be pretty far away from Times Sq. and the other fun stuff in NYC. Anyone can help?
  8. Thanks! Better: sure; but I don't think any cheaper. The reviews on tripadvisor indicate a pretty decent property, and it's just about 50 Dollars/Night. PRICELINE doesn't offer bidding for Mammoth Lakes, and I'm not sure about bidding for Flagstaff - no hotels reported yet on this board for Flagstaff
  9. I am thinking about either booking the Hilton New York or Sheraton New York Hotel and Towers (near Times-square), Deluxe Rooms are about 300$/Night on Expedia - not cheap, but since I would get a 'random' hotel on priceline for probably about 250$, 50$ more/night give us some kind of security. Anyone of you happen to know if there might be a special good deal about those hotels somewhere on the internet (i.e. cheaper than on Expedia)? Thanks a lot guys!
  10. Oh and one other thing: I also want to book Motel 6 for Flagstaff, AZ and Mammoth Lakes, CA. When I book online, I can see that it's more expensive to select 2 adults in a room than it is to select just 1... so I was wondering if I could just go ahead and book a room with two beds, but only plug in 1 adult (instead of two) and save a few bucks. Does this work or would I get into trouble if they find out?
  11. Hmm okay. I jsut talked to my dad - he would like to be in Santa Barbara (not Goleta or Capinteria). Directly on the beach or at least near the beach is also very important. I saw the Motel 6 on the beach for 120$. I know that's expensive, but that's the first motel 6 ever - so I think that means it is a good one? Anything you can tell me about this one? Also - do you think that for the same price I could get a better hotel/motel on priceline for Santa Barbara?
  12. Hi! I am looking for a hotel/motel in Santa Barbara... I'm not sure if PRICELINE is a good choice for that... alternative would be the motel 6 in carpinteria north for 57$/ south for 64$. Do ypou have any tipps on getting a good value hotel/motel in the area??? (maybe goleta?)
  13. Accepted :) Bidded 130 for 4* - Westin Bonaventure
  14. I was just reading the splitting your days thread - do you think splitting would be good in my case?
  15. I'm only bidding for the 8/11 night of my stay, since I won the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach for the night of 8/12. I'm bidding downtown, hollywood and beverly hills now... went up to 120$ last night with no success - seems like I have to bid higher when I bid again tonight...
