Hi all, I need some guidance... I would like to try for a 5* hotel in the Mayfair/Soho or Bloomsbury areas. I'm willing to go as high as $220 a night. Any tips or thoughts on how I should go about this? I know- it's so last minute :) Also, I'm travelling with my cousin of the opposite sex and would like to have two beds in the room. I know that there is no guarantee and I'd have to contact the hotel directly (after the bid is accepted), but does anyone have any experience trying to do that? Thanks!
