  1. Tried 3* for $75 first. Then added 2.5* and lowered bid to $72
  2. First tried bidding 4* up to $74 in a number of zones such as costa mesa, irvine, newport, huntington, Disney South with no luck. Next bid $59 checking both Lake Forest and Laguna Hills. Got a counter offer of $68. Used a free bid to try $64 first and it was accepted. Thank you.
  3. Because I really needed to be in walking distance of the Univ, I just got the best deal I could at the Brownstone. Thanks
  4. OK, I posted the Marriott win on priceline. I thought by using your Bidding Helper, you automatically captured the win. Sorry.
  5. I was bidding on a 3 star hotel in this zone. Started with $55 and worked my way up in $5 increments with free bids. Ended up getting an upgrade to the Marriott which I did not want. Not I have to pay for parking and internet. I was trying to get the Doubletree Brownstone. Thanks
  6. Hi, I have been trying to get the Doubletree Brownstone on HOTWIRE, Travelocity, or PRICELINE. First I tried on Priceline (with your BiddingHelper.com link) for the 25th and ended up getting upgraded to the 3.5* Marriott City Center. I did not want an upgrade and the associated nightly parking and internet charge. Oh well. Now Hotwire has a 3* hotel for $61 on April 26. It says the regular price is $129. It is not available the rest of the month. Amenities: Restaurant Laundry (self service) Fitness Center Pool It gets an 85% approval. Any thoughts on what hotel this is?
  7. Was this hotel ever identified? I used to stay in the Holiday Inn Brownstone but it has renovated and changed to the Doubletree. I am wondering if this is the Doubletree or if it has been on Hotwire this year. Thanks.
  8. My company normally stays at the Sheraton Downtown Dallas to be able to walk to our meetings. However, we are needing to save money and the $199 rate at Sheraton.com made it unaffordable. I looked into it and with your BB info, I felt pretty confident the 4* hotel avilable for $72 was the Sheraton. I booked 6 rooms, and indeed it was the sheraton. I am a hero at work thanks to BB! 9. Started with a $55 bid for the 3.5* Downtown zone. Added another free rebid zone and a $60 bid. Added another free rebid zone @$62 which was accepted. Note, the hotel is almost complete with a complete remodel. I got a remodeled room and they are fantastic. Parking is $18. Of course i used your PRICELINE link.
  10. Historically, the 2 star hotel in Goleta has been the Extended Stay America, but I haven't seen it mentioned lately. Hope this helps.
  11. I started with 4* in the same zone and went by $5 increments from $55 to $75 with no luck Next I went with 3.5* in the same zone and went by $5 increments from $50 to $70 with no luck Finally I took a winning bid from BetterBidding of $46 for a 3* hotel and got it on the first attempt. I used your PRICELINE link for all bidding. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $46.00 Subtotal: $46.00 Taxes & Fees: $14.84 Total Charges*: $60.84
  12. Because of the uncertainty, i went with an old standby which is the La Quinta with a medical rate of $44. Thank you for your help.
  13. I am not sure what you mean. I clicked your HOTWIRE link and it took me to the sight, so i re checked my days. Is that what you wanted me to do?
  14. I will be in Columbia MO for two nights starting May 9. Hotwire has a 3* hotel for $64 (using one person in the search.) Any idea which hotel it is? There are no 3* hotels listed in Columbia on the pinned hotel list. I also tried looking at hotel plus car offers to see if I could find the hotel, but Hotwire has no car plus hotel offers for Columbia these days. Additional Info Amenities are Fitness Center, Pool, Business Center and High Speed Internet. The property is approved by 95% of hotwire customers. Any help would be appreciated. Thank You.
  15. Not a bad deal for a 4* hotel but I have always gotten the Carolina Inn on past trips and really wanted it on this trip. Because of this I only bid on Thursday night even though I will be in town on Fri and Sat night as well. I guess I will drop down to 3.5* and try for the Sheraton Chapel Hill for those nights. It is nicer than the Sienna in my opinion.
