Just wanted to post the following lunchbag letdown for the 4* hotel in downtown Detroit. Booked April 19-20 for $196/night with the following description: "This upscale establishment offers thoughtful features, quality rooms and a high level of service." and the following amenities: Casino Fitness Center Restaurant(s) Business Center High-speed Internet Access Golf Nearby Turns out it was the Atheneum Hotel & Suites... not the MGM as I was seriously hoping for... ah well. Also, after checking Atheneum's site, turns out the price is exactly the same as their online reservations. Exactly. No savings on Hotwire at all. You win some, you lose some I guess.
