  1. I re-bidded to $85 and it was accepted at the Hilton Pasadena. Your Offer Price Per Room, Per Night: $85.00 Subtotal: $170.00 Taxes & Service Fees: $31.61 Total Charges*: $201.61 Thanks everyone.
  2. Used the link and tried to bid $75 (rejected), added free re-bid zone (Monrovia) to $80 and rejected again. Hotwire is showing what I think is the Sheraton Pasadena for $89.. at this rate, I may just go with Hotwire instead.
  3. Need a 1-night stay in Pasadena on Nov 8th. Checked the following hotel's and best published online rate: Sheraton - $129 Westin - $179 Hilton - $169 I'd probably be willing to bid up to $100 seeing that the winnings have been in the $80 - $90 range, and I do hope to get Westin as opposed to the other 2 properties. Any tips for me?
  4. Got it! :) Thanks so much for your help! Atlantis Casino Resort Spa Check in: Sat, Jan 6 Check out: Sun, Jan 7 Offer price: $40.00 Taxes & Svc Fees: $12.46 Total Charges: $52.46 Its funny because I looked back at my previous posts and got the exact same hotel 2 years ago for $32.00/night and I asked the same question about staying in the motor lodge. Now I recall staying there and feel like a complete idiot :)
  5. Been searching around the forum and found that another bidder got the Atlantis for $40. Want to try the same but not sure if they will place you in the motor lodge? From their website for my dates, the motor lodge is $58/nt. However if Atlantis is listed as 4*, is it same to assume I will not be placed in the motor lodge? Thanks.
  6. Amenities: Casino, Airport Shuttle, Restaurant(s), Pool(s), Fitness Center, Spa Services, Gold Nearby, Tennis Nearby, Business Center
  7. I called Hotwire and the CSR kept me on hold while she called Atlantis.. and she confirmed that I am guaranteed a room in the "luxury tower". Hotwire is also pretty quick about email responses.
  8. thanks for the advice! I contacted Hotwire and they confirmed that I have a room in the "luxury tower". Looking forward to my trip there.. thanks to betterbidding.com I pretty much had an idea that I would Atlantis..and I did! so I'm a happy camper.. will update with amenities when I return from my trip.
  9. 12/18 - 12/20, $34 x 2 nights.. after taxes = $81.95 Priceline offered it to me for $45
  10. First bid was $35...then counteroffered to add $9, but I only added $5 and won the bid at $40 a night. Called and requested 2 double beds, non-smoking and was told that I have that confirmed. Upon arrival, they only had a smoking room left..and the beds are full-size. Parking is $7/day...nice hotel otherwise.
  11. Hotwire 6/2/04 - 6/4/04 3* Park Plaza by the Vancouver Int'l Airport $35 a night Total: $87.95 after taxes Amenities: Shuttle, Resturant, Pool, Fitness Center, Business Center, Tennis Courts (nearby), and Children's Activities. Hope this helps you guys!!
  12. will do! I'll post up a new topic with Park Plaza's amenities..and then when I return from my trip (hopefully I'll remember) to update and provide input on what I thought of the hotel... and you can change the title of this post to Marriot.
  13. Did some research on what hotels are offered by Hotwire... 6/2 - 6/4 3* Park Plaza $35 per night Total: $87.95 6/4 - 6/5 4* Marriot Vancouver Airport $64 per night Total: $87.95 I'll be staying at two different hotels, but I think I got myself a pretty good deal since I'll be staying at a 4* Marriot. I was also wondering why it was crossed off on your Hotwire listing? and Park Plaza wasn't listed also. Thanks for the useful info! I purchased the 4* having a pretty good idea it was the Marriot since a previous poster got the same hotel for about the same price. I hope this post will help other potential buyers!
