Hi all I am looking for a 4 star or better hotel in boston for 2/13-2/15 (Doesnt matter the zone but the nicer the better..) I was wonder how likely it would be if I bet around 60 bucks to get the hyatt regency.....best guess would be great Lastly, does priceline always allow you to extend ur stay one night at the same price or just in certain situations? If I bid for 2/13 and get the hotel I want then can I add 2/14 for sure?

Hi everyone, Back again. This board is great and I frequent it often. Thanks for helping me just last week get the Intercontinental at a great price of 119+tax. My question is I am looking to spend FEB 13TH-15TH in boston as well and hoping for the same place...if not it is okay. The 4.5 star hotel which I am assuming is the intercontinental for the dates provided is $179 a night...is it likely as the date gets closer those prices will rise or fall? Just figuring if I should pull the trigger or if I wait it is likely I can get a better deal. thanks Nick

My gf and me have been together for 3 years now and just want to go out and have a great night. She is 18...but as long as the reservation is in my name then she won't be asked for ID correct? I DID book through HOTWIRE using the link given to me in this thread today. It was the intercontinental at $119 plus tax which came to $136 total. I will be there Friday the 19th and leaving Saturday the 20th as my gf needs to go back home to Connecticut....we both live in Connecituct and I will be going home Christmas eve. Has anyone stayed at the intercontinental before? Can you tell me how the rooms are especially the showers, and the ammentites around the hotel? I apperciate all the work you guys do here. please keep it up. I also wanted to say I called the Inter-Continental as soon as I confirmed through hotwire. I requested a free upgraded room to waterview, 1 king bed, and a possible bigger upgrade...the waterview and king bed they have already granted to me. They said I may be able to get a bigger complementary upgrade upon arrival depending on availability. Not bad for $119 when the hotel its self is offering the same thing for over $200

Aaron, how confident are you that this is the Inter-Continental? I REALLY am hoping that it is before I pull the trigger....also can i use a VISA Gift card in order to reserve my reservation? Does anyone know...I would assume that would be fine. Lastly, can anyone tell me does the hotel ask for your credit card as well or just proof of pre-payment? If they ask for a credit card can i give them a visa prepaid gift card? My credit cards only have a $300 limit ...im a college student and its maxed out right now.

Guys, I would like to take the lady friend to a nice hotel before we go on Christmas break. I am looking at BOTH Priceline and Hotwire, however I think the only option I truly have is Hotwire....if I want to ASSURE there being a pool there....can anyone confirm this being true, that if I name my own price on priceline I may not end up with a pool, or is there a certain star I can chose on priceline to make sure I get a pool? Next, We do not care where in BOston it is but i REALLY want something NICE so here's what I came across if anyone can identify this hotel and tell me about it that'd be great....as well as answer questions regarding naming your own price on priceline but assuring there be a pool... are you positive that I can use my credit card for them? If so this is sooo wonderful, I just do not want the hotel to give her mother a problem when they check in or ask her mother for a credit card or anything like that.

Honestly, I'd like to get the 4 star for like $150 a night. The mariott looks beautiful and when i looked up at priceline it seemed like that was the only hotel listed in Groton at a 4* Dates are August 1st and 2nd. I am looking to use my credit card but will not be going on the trip my girlfriend and her mother will be, I am doing them a favor. Do you think it is okay that I put it on MY credit card but when they go without me they just show the mothers ID? I don't really have a budget but do want to get away with a nice winning bid.

HI I am very new here, and am finally ready to use priceline, but i need some serious help. I really really really want to stay at the MARIOTT Mystic Hotel and Spa can someone tell me what price I should bid, and also how to assure this is the hotel I end up in. It is in Groton Ct and is a 4 star hotel and it seems to be the ONLY 4 star hotel listed, on priceline but because I am soo new to this whole thing I am a bit afraid to find out there may be something else. Can someone please help me
