I booked the hotel listed in the description yesterday (May 24th 2007) using the strategy listed below (I saw this posted in another thread). After my first $70 bid for a 4* hotel in Kensington I received a counter offer of $116. I rejected it initially and followed the strategy through to completion. The same counter offer kept popping up every time I included Kensington in the list of acceptable zones and it turned out to be the best price available at the time.
