I bid up to $56 for 4-stars and 3.5-stars, without success. I then figured out, thanks to this site, that I would likely get the Holiday Inn Capitol Conference Center if I expanded to 3 stars. I actually prefer this hotel to the 4-star ones because the hotel's free shuttle is expected to come in handy during my trip. Hoping to get this hotel, I bid $40, $45 and then $51. I am quite happy as my final cost is less than 40% the "retail" price for the hotel. Thanks.
