The amenities listed were different than what was listed in the Hotwire hotel list on this board. All that was listed on HOTWIRE this time was Fitness, Restaurant, Business and Hi Speed Internet. The pool and laundry icon mentioned in the hotel list were not present.

The subtitle of this thread should be "don't try to guess the hotel" as I had figured this as the Comfort Inn or Holiday Inn Express (which I would have been happy with) but it was Days Inn North. At least all we needed was a room to crash since we'll be out at the basketball tournament for most of the time. Amenities: Breakfast, pool, laundry, high speed internet Used the HOTWIRE link

Tried getting 2 rooms in the Harrisburg or Harrisburg East using Hershey as a free rebid. Bid up to $92 for a 2 1/2 * (starting with 4 star and gradually adding zones and decreasing star level) but then decided to just use my backup hotel as it was only $20 a night more for a guaranteed nonsmoking. Oh, and also tried dropping the first night. From spot checking some hotel websites, the 27th (Saturday) seems to be the trouble night that is fully booked.

I got Hyatt Regency Penns Landing for 1 night June 21st - 22nd for $99. The prepaid rate on Hyatt website was $210. Amenities shown: Fitness, Restaurant, Pool, Internet, Business Remembered to use the HOTWIRE link on the board! (Now if I could just get a decent priceline or hotwire hotel / rate for Harrisburg - Hershey for June 25-29!)

Just needed a place for us to crash after the AC DC concert so wasn't that concerned about a high end hotel. Figured it was either HI Exp (which I could find unmasked at $93) or the Extended Stay Deluxe ($104) and would be happy with either. Booked the week before our stay. Started at $44, kept using free rebid zones (lots with no 4*) and went up by $4 increments until $56 was accepted. This was my first priceline purchase. Now I'm hooked!
