  1. That's the one.
  2. Bid $68 on a four star and lost, bid $55 on a three and lost. Waited til the next day, bid $62 on a three star and got this. Looks like a good deal. Last week, I won the Holiday Inn Select in Chinatown for two dollars less. This looks to be a much better deal.
  3. Won it on the first bid. Not exactly what I was hoping for as I would have liked something closer to Crescent Street. Hotel is more like a 2.5 but really, how can I complain for the price. Total was around $77 with tax and fees.
  4. I received the Courtyard by Marriott with I believe the same amenities, definitely three stars and similar price about two months ago. I received the Hilton on Hotwire about a month ago and it was 3.5 not three.
  5. Laundry, Hi-Speed Internet, Kitchenette. Sorry again.
  6. Date of stay was 1/6/07. Sorry.
  7. Crossland Detroit Livonia 11808 Middlebelt Rd. Livonia, Michigan48150 Hotel 1 room(s) @ $22.00 per night x 1 night(s) Taxes, recovery charges, and fees Hotel subtotal $22.00 $4.40 $26.40 Total Some hotels may apply additional charges for incidental fees such as parking. Prices are in $USD. $26.40 2* was a stretch but still a great bargain. Had a kitchenette, etc. At least as good as the best Motel 6.
  8. The Amerihost rate went down to $67 and I rebooked. It then went to $150 and is now sold out. One instance where Hotwire/Priceline was not worth it. Thanks.
  9. Pool, Fitness, Restaurant, Business, Internet, Golf, Tennis.
  10. Hard to beat this one. Apparently, this place is nice, a little off the beaten path and easy to catch on a weekend. Stay is for night of Saturday, 12/9. Hotel 1 room(s) @ $39.00 per night x 1 night(s) Taxes, recovery charges, and fees Hotel subtotal $39.00 $4.72 $43.72 Total Some hotels may apply additional charges for incidental fees such as parking. Prices are in $USD. $43.72
  11. I am going to New Orleans for New Year's Eve, just the one night. I booked the AmeriHost for $110 including tax. I tried a few lowball bids on Priceline for the area and as expected, had no luck. Is it even worth pursuing Priceline for a holiday and area like this? In anyone's opinion, could I possibly get something comparable to the AmeriHost or better for less than the above price? Thanks much.
