Thanks for the input. Not been too successful with PRICELINE in the past. This was a last minute booking, price was better than we would have paid through other sites for the short time planning. Will be better advised for future planning. Thanks.

Original bid was $75.00 was rejected and then was given the offer of adding $20.00 more for a free re-bid. Bid $109 and was accepted. Total cost with $20.39 taxes is $129.39 Rooms on the Marriott website start at $159.95 Used the PRICELINE link on Betterbidding.

I had stayed at the Hyatt McCormick Place on a previous visit this May and although I got a great last minute air/hotel package rate, the hotel was not close to where a lot of my friends were staying for the US/England football (soccer) match. The upside, is that I learnt the Hyatt (Wacker Drive) would have been a better location so took a gamble on hotwire that it would end up being this hotel (yes I read the hotel listing first - Cheers). For the rate $52 I am pleased as that means more funds my daughter can spend :)
