I tried $65 and got rejected, then tried $80 and succeeded. I should have gone a little lower but was impatient. The rooms seem to typically go for $109, but when I checked the direct booking option on the hotel website, there was one for $99..

Just won this ... I had tried bidding lower prices for higher stars, upped the price a little and went from 3.5* down to 3*.
