  1. Apologies but I didn't record the amenity list before I purchased.
  2. Decided not to go through with hotwire because we did not want to stay at Hawaii Prince Hotel. Ended up booking a PRICELINE EXPRESS deal at Priceline 4* Waikiki beach Kuhio area for 163$/night. The hotel was Hyatt Regency. Thanks for your time. Emmanuel
  3. Correct, this is the 4* marina hotel. In this case it looks like what you're saying is that its likely the Hawaii Prince Hotel.
  4. The amenity list (again) below is for "Distinctive 4-star hotel in Waikiki Beach area": FULL AMENITIES: Boutique hotel, Near beach, Oceanfront hotel, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower Is the Hawaii Prince Hotel Waikiki still your best guess? Thanks, Emmanuel
  5. The trip is firm but the hotel room booking is dependent on the price and outcome of this inquiry. The full amenity list is as follows: FULL AMENITIES: Boutique hotel, Near beach, Oceanfront hotel, Fitness center, Pool(s), Restaurant(s), Business center, Internet access, Spa services, Accessible for visually impaired, Accessible for hearing impaired, Accessible path of travel, In-room accessibility, Accessible bathroom, Accessible parking, Roll-in shower
  6. Using the bidding helper tool, I found that there was another 4 star hotel that popped up under Waikiki marina ala moana. Can I request help to identify the hotel in this thread or should I start a new thread?
  7. Using the BiddingHelper.com easy view tab, fitness centre and pool were additional to the initial amenities list.
  8. Cancelled trip due to unforeseen circumstances
  9. Need help identifying "Distinctive 4-star hotel in Waikiki Beach area". Amenities include the following: Complimentary- Free Internet Amenities -Beachfront hotel, Business center, Restaurant(s), Self-service laundry, Spa services Accessibility -, Accessible for hearing impaired,Accessible bathroom Thanks, Emmanuel
  10. Hi there, looking to find out what I can expect to pay for one night (Sept 17-18) in downtown Portland for a 4 star or better. Also, if there are any tips on a bidding strategy that would be great. Thanks, E
  11. Hi guys, just wanted to update you on this thread. We decided not to name our own price and just went ahead and booked directly through priceline to get the hotel that we wanted: W Seattle for $181/night. I am certain that I could have got a cheaper price using the bidding strategy provided however, given that there were quite a few 4* hotels in that area, and we did not want to risk getting a boutique hotel that we were not sure of. In particular, there was one hotel (Sorrento) that was east of the I-5 that we did not want to risk getting, in terms of access to train stations and being more inland. All in all, we got the hotel we wanted, albeit at regular price - but that's okay. Thanks for your guys' input and help. E
  12. Thanks, I will definitely try this. Also, have you any input on where a good place to stay is in the downtown area? Are there areas that are nearer to the transit system than others, or are there advantages/disadvantages to staying in one place as opposed to others? Are some areas cheaper than others?
  13. As the title states, I'm looking for a bidding strategy for Seattle on the above mentioned dates. I am looking at booking in the 3 downtown areas exclusively. and having not any info on the time of year and how busy hotels will be during my stay, I am trying to budget 140$/night max, 4 star or higher. Also, any other input regarding the 3 different downtown areas would be much appreciated. Thanks, E
