I addedd the Embarcadero right after Union Square East because the area was also fine for me. Therefore I couldn't get any room for less then 200$ in both Union Square East and Embarcadero.

I started my bidding at 150$ for a 4* in Union Square East and had to increase the bid by adding Japan Town and San Francisco south and finally decided to add Embarcadero because I was not willing to pay more. I still think it's a good deal since I couldn't find any room for less using HOTWIRE, Expedia, Hotels.com, tripadvisor....The average was 200$ for a 3*. SF seems so expensive in August! Thanks a lot for the PRICELINE link and the service!

I started the bidding at 65$ for a 5* in Strip South. I got rejected 5 times and I gradually increased the price to 80$ by adding different areas that didn't have 5* hotels. FYI I also added Strip North, just in case I could get also get a good 5*, but it looks like it's way more expensive than Strip south. Thanks a lot!
