Started at $60 bidding Midtown 3* Priceline offered to give me something if I upped my bid to $77 Instead I countered, adding Atlanta West and bidding $63

I don't know what was going on in town on June 7 but couldn't find anything 4* in Dupont Circle or White House for under $100. Went to $85 for 6/7 and got the Marriott in CC/Capitol and then added two nights for $65.

Tried bidding up to $70 on a 4* in FQ/DT over a few days & got nowhere. First bid on Boutique accepted for $60 Was worried as some other hotels were fully booked--not quite Jazzfest but who knows. There's a Pirate Convention in town ?!? go figure...

Was hoping for the intercontinental, but them's the breaks.

Maybe should have bid lower because it was accepted immediately. A friend bid and won for the same amount for 6/5 through 6/10.
